Afternoon Pick Up
If you live in Strongsville and your child(ren) qualifies for riding the bus, SJJ and Strongsville highly recommend your child(ren) ride the bus home. Our SJJ students are the only students on the bus when they are heading home for the day and the bus drivers don’t pick up any additional students from other schools. I have noticed the last few days that our pick up line has been backed up onto Pearl Road causing cars to block turn lanes entering the parking lot, such as the lane turning right into the parking lot. By blocking these turning lanes, we jeopardize safe travel for lanes continuing on Pearl Road. This also doesn’t maintain clear roadways for first responders. If this is the case, you may need to circle around and get in the middle turn lane and head north to turn left into the parking lot. Thank you for your cooperation.
Morning Drop Off Reminder
We are noticing that parents are using the center bus lane (between the church and school) during morning arrival and are exceeding the 15 mph speed limit. The safety of our children is our highest priority. Please be sure to use the southern-most drive off of Pearl Road to access the car line. Only cars arriving after 7:45am should be using the driveway in between the church and the school. Thank you for your cooperation by driving slowly on school property to protect the children and staff at SJJ.
Lunch Accounts
My School Account is no longer active for lunch. The lunch charges will be billed through the FACTS system. At this time we are billing weekly; however, that may change to semi-monthly once we get further along in the year. You can pay for lunches once the invoices are sent or you can send a check into school and we can apply it to the lunch account if you prefer to pay ahead. There is no way to pay ahead online at this time.
