Movie Night

What a great night! Thank you to everyone that came out to our first movie night. It was a great success! I can’t wait for the next one! Thank you teachers and staff for putting together such a fun family event!

Save the Dates

We are putting some important dates on our calendar and want to keep you informed of when these events will be happening.

  • High School Night at Sts. Joseph and John (Grades 6-8) – Tuesday, September 27 6-7pm
  • First Responder Prayer Service –  Friday, September 30 at 1:15pm (parents and relatives may attend)
  • Grandparent’s Day – Friday, October 28 at 8:05am Mass (more information to follow)
  • SJJ Gala – Saturday, March 11, 2023

Volunteers Needed

Lunchroom help is needed on Fridays!  Your kids will love to see you during the school day!  Time commitment is only about an hour and a half!  Contact Wendy DePauw at wdepauw@sjjschool.org for more information or to get involved today!

 SJJ PTU Chair Meeting

Wednesday, September 7th at McGraw Hall from 6:30-7:30pm.  All are welcome!  Come join us as we go through the events and fundraisers planned for the school year.  Help is always appreciated for various events, this is the time to learn what events are being held and the type of assistance that is needed.  See you there!

Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union

Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union will be here on Wednesday, September 7 from 7:10am – 8:00am. If you have a deposit to make into your student account, please bring it on Wednesday.

Cross Country Update

Meet highlights:

Our kids are amazing!! The 86° heat and blazing sun could not keep these runners down! Our teams had a fantastic showing:

  • Intramural: Girls – 3rd place (Grades 1 – 3)

  • (Grades 4 – 5): Girls – 1st place

  • (Grades 6-8) Girls – 2nd place

  • (Grades 6-8) Boys- 1st place

Too many outstanding performances to recognize, but be sure to congratulate the following for “Top 12” finishes. These kids ran in heats of up to 116 runners!

  • (Grades 1 – 3): Ava Z. (1), Kaitlyn Z. (5), Elizabeth R. (9)

  • (Grades 4 – 5): Aubrey N. (7), Kaitlyn H. (10)

  • (Grades 6-8): Luke W. (2), Brian G. (4), Caitlyn W. (8)
