Dear Parents,

Thank you to everyone that was able to attend our Prayer Service and Meet the Teacher Night on Monday!

It was a great first week back at school with our students! It was great having noise and movement again within the hallways and classes. There was a lot of excitement and student learning back in the building!

Our Virtual House Meeting was a success and students were able to play trivia within their classroom. Our new students spun the House Wheel to see which house they were assigned to.  Make sure you ask your child what they learned during our House Meeting.

Just a reminder to please don’t send your transportation changes to your classroom teachers, since they might not be able to see their email in time. Please contact the Main Office by 1:30pm at 440-238-4877 for any transportation changes.

Specials begin on Monday. For 6th-8th grade students, it will be a RED WEEK. Please follow the attached schedule below.

I look forward to a great full week next week. Have a safe and healthy weekend!

SJJ Reading Challenge

SJJ will hold a Reading Challenge this year. The goal is to have ALL SJJ students, READ, READ, READ.  Our goal is to read 2.5 MILLION pages this school year.  Each homeroom will keep track of pages read.  Each month, during our house meeting, the classroom that has read the most pages, as well as the biggest reader in each grade, will be recognized.  Your child will be given time during the day to add pages to their totals.  Pages read in school as well as outside the classroom will count.  Stay tuned because once our goal is met, our students will be rewarded with an in school treat.
