Dear Parents,

I hope you all had a fantastic Easter!  We are eager to get back to school and finish the year strong.

A few of our classes are taking their learning outside of the classroom this week. Our 4th Graders will be taking a day trip and touring OHIO which is part of the 4th grade Social Studies Curriculum. They will begin the trip in Chillicothe with a walking tour of the Serpent Mound then continue over to the Adena Mansion. From there they head north to Columbus to continue their trip. Our 7th Grade students have been reading the book A Long Walk to Water in conjunction with the Iron Giraffe Challenge – Walk-a-Thon they are taking part in on Thursday on campus.  This cross curricular study focuses on South Sudan, clean water, hygiene and so much more. It is their hope to raise money and awareness to help deliver sustainable quality-of-life services to and with the people of South Sudan. Our 7th graders will also be traveling to St. Ignatius High School to watch the students in the Latin Club compete in the annual Chariot Races.  Lastly, our Kindergarten students will also take a trip this week to the Cleveland Botanical Gardens.
