Dear Parents, This week our 3rd graders had a seatbelt presentation held by the Strongsville Police Department and they discussed the importance of wearing your seatbelt. It is always great working with our police department to show and bring safety to our students. Our 4th grade has been showcasing their skills this week by presenting their Ohio’s Wax Museum. Dear Parents, Once again, I would like to thank our PTU and parents for putting on a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week. We are very grateful for everything everyone did and thank you for being so generous and kind. I am happy to mention that we are partnering up with MusicAlliance again next year for 4th-8th grade Band. MusicAlliance will have additional information for us as we approach the fall. This past year has been met with many uncertainties and unexpected changes that have greatly impacted the education of students around our country. It’s our goal at SJJ to provide additional support to our students to ensure that this pandemic has not impeded any of our students’ previous growth and progress. Therefore, SJJ is happy to announce its first summer tutoring program for students entering grades 1 - 5. The focus of this tutoring is to help students maintain and strengthen skills in the areas of math and/or reading. Dear Parents, As we head into April and prepare for Easter and Spring Break, please continue to be vigilant about social distance, wearing masks and remembering what we do outside of school affects our entire school community. Art Club is a chance for students to create art projects led by Mrs. Basch in a fun, relaxed, and informal setting. We will be focused on creativity, exploring new art materials, and having fun! On March 3rd Mrs. Kathy Wolf, our Vice Principal, announced that she has accepted a Principal position at St. Anthony of Padua School in Akron. I would like to congratulate Mrs. Wolf for her 20 years of service at Sts. Joseph and John School and am grateful to have spent the last three years working with her at SJJ. Visit CYO Athletics Page Track and Field - Spring 2021 CYO Spring Track is open to all boys and girls in grades 3 through 8. Practices will begin on March 22, 2021 and will run through the end of the season.  Practice times will be from 6pm to 8pm and will be divided by grades depending on number of registrations. Meets will begin after the Spring Break.
