Dear Parents, Class Lists Class lists will not be posted this year on the school doors. On Monday, August 8th be looking for an email from your child’s homeroom teacher between 1pm - 3pm. Dear Parents, 8th grade visits Washington DC The 8th grade visited the nation’s capital this week. They were able to watch the changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, visit the Washington Monument, Arlington Cemetary and many other historic sights and landmarks. They greeted and visited with veterans on an Honor Flight from California. Some of the highlights of the trip included Mass at the Basilica and the Flight 93 Memorial. You may have noticed that St. Joseph Parish is in the midst of its 75th Anniversary celebration. Four years after St. Joseph Parish was founded, in September 1950, St. Joseph School began educating the youth of Strongsville and with the 1977 founding of St. John Neumann, Sts. Joseph and John was born in September 1978. As part of their June Closing Celebrations, St. Joseph is producing a Commemorative Book that will include a history of the parish, pictures, and an opportunity for local sponsorships. Dear Parents, 7th grade visits Pittsburgh While visiting Pittsburgh, the 7th grade students spent time at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, a guided tour of St. Anthony’s Chapel, explored the exhibits at Carnegie Science Center, rode on the Duquesne Incline, toured the Nationality Rooms at the University of Pittsburgh, visited the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, and had some fun playing games at both Dave and Busters and Fun Fore All! WELCOME to our 2022 Raffle! This is the only fundraiser for Sts. Joseph and John School! It is our hope that all families will support this fundraising effort. The raffle takes the place of any additional fundraisers we may have had including magazine sales, candy bar sales and any other smaller fundraiser. Dear Parents, Dress Down for Ukraine On Wednesday, April 13th we had a blue and yellow dress down to support Ukraine. We raised over $1600!  All money will be donated to the Bridge of Hope which has been helping millions of refugees enter Poland for safety and shelter. Your donation will go to provide water, food, clothing, mattresses, washing machines, medical supplies, etc. Many of the donations will go towards tourniquets for the wounded soldiers of Ukraine.
