Dear Parents,

7th grade visits Pittsburgh

While visiting Pittsburgh, the 7th grade students spent time at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, a guided tour of St. Anthony’s Chapel, explored the exhibits at Carnegie Science Center, rode on the Duquesne Incline, toured the Nationality Rooms at the University of Pittsburgh, visited the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, and had some fun playing games at both Dave and Busters and Fun Fore All! Visit our social media pages for pictures!

Kindergarten Field Trip

The kindergarten went to the Botanical Gardens. They shared with the staff everything they have learned in class about butterflies, went on a nature walk, saw a lot of beautiful flowers and played at the big tree house.

A Special Invitation as St. Joseph celebrates 75 years

You may have noticed that St. Joseph Parish is in the midst of its 75th Anniversary celebration. Four years after St. Joseph Parish was founded, in September 1950, St. Joseph School began educating the youth of Strongsville and with the 1977 founding of St. John Neumann, Sts. Joseph and John was born in September 1978. As part of their June Closing Celebrations, St. Joseph is producing a Commemorative Book that will include a history of the parish, pictures, and an opportunity for local sponsorships. This is a unique and special time in our collective Catholic history within our city. St. Joseph’s 75th Anniversary Committee would like to extend an invitation to our parents, especially of our soon-to-be graduates, to contribute a congratulations message to their graduate or another student, within the pages of this special book. If you are interested in doing so, a gift of $25 is requested and we ask that you contact Dawna Meng at 440.552.9256 or dawnsdlite@aol.com for details. Submissions need to be completed by May 1, 2022 to be included within the book that will be available in June.

In service of youth,

Mr. Akosi
