Dear Parents, Mayor Perciak came to visit SJJ on Wednesday. He spent time with the 3rd graders talking about local government. Be sure to check our social media for pictures. Power of the Pen On March 5 our 7th grade Power of the Pen Team, Natalie, Jake, Kate and August, competed in the Regional Tournament. The team placed 7th overall out of 33 teams. Dear Parents, Happy first week of Spring! This Sunday, the SJJ Faculty and Staff will be taking on the 8th graders in a basketball game. Dear Parents, Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! On Tuesday, the 7th and 8th graders participated in our first Iron Giraffe Challenge walkathon.  The purpose of this walkathon was to bring attention to the water crisis in South Sudan.  Students walked for an entire class period carrying two gallons of water.  Mrs. Ferrian and Mrs. Wirtz are hoping this will genuinely open our students' eyes to the struggles that children as young as 5 go through each day.
