Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
On Tuesday, the 7th and 8th graders participated in our first Iron Giraffe Challenge walkathon. The purpose of this walkathon was to bring attention to the water crisis in South Sudan. Students walked for an entire class period carrying two gallons of water. Mrs. Ferrian and Mrs. Wirtz are hoping this will genuinely open our students’ eyes to the struggles that children as young as 5 go through each day. Thank you to Mrs. Ferrian and Mrs. Wirtz for putting this on and great job students. Check our social media accounts for pictures.
Thank you to the SJJ PTU! They have donated new playground balls for our students. They will be looking forward to using them starting next week.
