Grandparents/Special Person Edition

“Hold fast to the hope that lies before us.” – Hebrews 6:18

God of love,

We thank you for our wonderful grandparents and our special people.
They bring such joy and happiness into our lives.
Thank you for all the special times that we have with them and we look forward to the memories we create with them.
Please watch over them, protect them and care for them every day.
May they know how much we love and appreciate them and may they feel Your goodness and love always.

What a day! Saints Joseph and John School welcomed Grandparents and Special Guests to our school today, and we were so excited to have them with us! From Bingo, to crafts to Lego challenges and personal apple pies from Cleveland’s Camelot Bakery, our goal was to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where grandparents and special guests felt honored and celebrated. We were happy to help our students show their appreciation for their grandparents and special guests and for everyone to create beautiful memories together here at SJJ!

A special thank you to our SJJ PTU and parent volunteers for all of their help this morning- we couldn’t have done it without them! And a huge shout out to our Grandparents Day Committee, Mrs. Kazimir, Miss Kopy, and Mrs. Ketterick for all of their work in planning and organizing the event. Thank you to all of our teachers and staffor their help and support!

Please read on for photos and videos that give a glimpse into our spectacular day, as well as other school news like a peek into our preschool week and an update from our PTU!

Blessings,

Mrs. Schenek
