Dear Parents,

Today, we honored our Veterans at Mass. After Mass the 8th graders spoke over donuts with our Veterans. This is one of my favorite days of the year and we are truly Blessed to be able to have these men and women come to SJJ and celebrate them protecting our country. Thank you Veterans!

Comeback Kits

We have so much to be thankful for this holiday season that we thought it would be a great time to give back to others.  The City Mission needs our help collecting items to create “Comeback Kits.” Please send the items listed in the document below to your child’s classroom during the week of November 15-19th. Our SJJ Builders Club will be assembling these kits to donate.

Vacation Policy

Just a reminder that if you are planning on going on an early or extended vacation, our Vacation Policy states for any planned absences of 2 or more days a pre-absence form must be obtained from the teacher. It must be completed by the student, parent and teacher and returned before the planned absence. Students have 2 school days after the absence to make up work no matter how many days they were absent. All work is due on the third school day after the absence. Students are responsible for mastery of the material covered during the time of their absence. (For example, if a student were absent on Monday and Tuesday, they would have Wednesday and Thursday of the same week to complete their missed work. Work is then due back to the teacher(s) on Friday of that week.) No work will be given to the student prior to leaving for vacation.
