From the Desk of Mrs. Wolf:

As we continue on our Lenten journey, please take some time to pray as a family. A decade of the Rosary before bed or even reading a story from the Bible are great ways to come together as a family in prayer. Pope Francis shared a beautiful list of ways to fast this Lent.

Here are a few:

“Fast from hurting words and say kind words”.

“Fast from anger and be filled with patience”.

“Fast from pressures and be prayerful”.

“Fast from grudges and be compassionate”.

Remember, fasting of any kind can be meaningful if done with perseverance.

A big CONGRATULATIONS to all our 8th graders who have been accepted into their High School of choice. We are so happy for all of you. Please continue to keep your service and academics strong as you head into the last part of your time here at Sts. Joseph and John School.

Hopefully, we are finally nearing the end of the bitter cold. The students are eager to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. Please make sure that they come to school with the proper outerwear for recess.

As a reminder, the tie-dye t-shirts or sweatshirts are NOT part of the school uniform. Both are only to be worn on “spirit days”. Please also remember that the crew sweatshirt purchased from PTU spirit wear sale is allowed to be worn with the daily school uniform. Please do not go out and try to have the sweatshirt remade from other suppliers.

My prayers are with you as you continue on your Lenten Journey.

Mrs. Wolf
