The Association of Strongsville Firefighters Local 2882 has partnered with Serpentini Chevrolet and Strongsville Dairy Queen to conduct a spring bicycle giveaway program. The program is intended to serve the underprivileged children within the city limits of Strongsville.

The Strongsville Firefighters are extremely grateful for the financial support of Serpentini Chevrolet for making this program possible. We would also like to acknowledge the generosity of Strongsville Dairy Queen in providing ice cream vouchers for non qualifying children in the same household.

For the program’s first year, 10 bicycles and helmets will be delivered by Strongsville Firefighters and staff of Serpentini on a date to be determined later. Those children who are too young or too old, living in the same household where a bicycle is delivered, will receive a voucher for free ice cream at the Strongsville Dairy Queen.

In order to determine the recipients of the bicycles, applications and waivers may be picked up from the Strongsville Library beginning February 6th.  Applications and waivers must be filled out by a parent or guardian and returned no later than February 20th.

Completed applications can be returned in person or by mail to Strongsville Firefighters Association, Attn: Matt Schenek, 15939 Drake Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136 or email them to local2882bikes@gmail.com. Not all that apply will be chosen and the number of available applications is limited to 50.
