Dear Saints Joseph and John School Families,

“Hold fast to the hope that lies before us.” – Hebrews 6:18

Tomorrow we welcome our veterans to SJJ for our school Mass and a reception to honor them. We are grateful for the men and women who have served our country!

Tomorrow, students and staff may wear red/white and/or blue shirts or SJJ spirit shirts or spirit wear sweatshirts (no hoodies) and school uniform bottoms with school uniform shoes. Students are always welcome to wear their complete school uniform instead of participating in any form of dress down days.

Looking ahead, our fall open house for rising Preschool, Prekindergarten and Kindergarten students is from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. on November 16 at the school. Attendees to the open house will have the opportunity for preferred enrollment for Preschool or Prekindergarten at the event. Please be sure to watch the video explaining our new Prekindergarten program below!

Speaking of enrollment, plans for K-8 enrollment for 2024-2025 school year are also underway. We will be transitioning to a new online platform, Digital Academy, for student enrollment and registration for next school year. More information to come soon.

SJJ is excited to start Family Mass Takeovers this year! All families are encouraged to attend and celebrate Mass as a school family beginning this Sunday at 11 a.m. at St. John Neumann Parish. This Sunday, our 5th and 6th graders and their families will have special roles during the Mass.

Other SJJ Mass Takeovers are scheduled for:

January 21 at 11 am at St. John Neumann (Featuring Grades 3 and 4)

March 3 at 10:30 am at St. Joseph (Featuring Grades 7 & 8)

May 12 at 11 am at St. John Neumann (Featuring Grades 1 & 2)

After this Sunday’s Mass, I hope to see you at our SJJ family watch party as we cheer on the Cleveland Browns!

Autumn blessings,

Mrs. Schenek
