Dear Parents,

I hope everyone enjoyed their week. On November 1, we celebrated Sr. Rita’s birthday. Sr. Rita is an amazing and spiritual person.  We are truly Blessed to have her at SJJ. Thank you for being a part of the SJJ community for 52 years.

Our 1st graders sang an All Saints song after Mass today. They sounded very angelic. They then paraded around the school for our students dressed as their favorite Saint for an All Saints celebration.

Craft Fair

This Saturday, November 6th is the PTU-sponsored Craft Fair!  Please plan on joining us from 9am – 4pm where McGraw Hall, the Gym, and hallways of SJJ will be lined with talented vendors selling jewelry, clothing, decor, art, pet items, and specialty foods.  You do not want to miss this! It’s a great opportunity to find some unique holiday gifts, and with all the supply shortages out there, this is your chance to get some early holiday shopping done!  Admission is free.

The Craft Fair is one of our major fundraisers that helps raise funds so the PTU can support the teachers and staff of SJJ.  We raise funds by selling spaces to vendors and our job as PTU volunteers is to make sure the show runs seamlessly.

There are a few volunteer spots available if you have time and are interested.  Thank you to those friends who have already signed up!  Please follow this link to a signup genius where you can see what roles are needed and sign up if you are able:  www.signupgenius.com/go/4090f4ba5ac2ba6fb6-sjjcraft

Veterans Day

We will honor all Veterans on Friday, November 12 at the 8:05am Mass. After Mass, we invite all Veterans to join our 8th graders in McGraw Hall to enjoy a donut and coffee/juice. If you know a Veteran that would be interested in attending, please let them know about this event. All students may dress down in Red, White and Blue to show our support for our veterans on Friday, November 12.
